The breakfast baskets were a delightful start to the day, filled with muesli, yogurt, and fresh fruit, all perfectly portioned.
The older sash windows could rattle during strong winds, which might disturb light sleepers when the weather gets rough.

Had a great time here! The hosts were super friendly and my room was comfy. A bit more storage would’ve been sweet, but otherwise, loved the place!

The older sash windows rattled a bit in strong winds, which might bother light sleepers, and I missed the chance to meet fellow guests over breakfast due to everyone opting for those baskets. While those baskets were nice, a communal breakfast experience can really enhance a stay.

Ballater vibes❤️
Staying in Room No3 felt like a home away from home, so cozy. Cathy and Alan were just the best hosts, bringing brekkie to our room like champs! The comfy bed was a dream, I almost missed my own at home!
Just wish there was a bit more storage for our stuff, but no biggie really.

The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the town centre, where we found charming shops and eateries. The large double room was comfortable, offering ample space and a cozy environment. breakfast was a unique experience, as we prepared it ourselves at our own leisure, including delicious muesli with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit.
Occasional street noise could disrupt a peaceful sleep, especially on busier nights.

The room was spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast baskets were a standout, featuring delicious pastries and fresh fruit that added a lovely start to each day. the sash windows rattled a bit during gusty winds, and the lack of a true garden view from our room was a disappointment. Lastly, having to keep the blinds closed while changing was not ideal for privacy.
